It has been said that it isn't what you do, or how you do it that makes a company great. It's why. The reason why TrueNorth is so good at what we do is because we have so much experience in B2B marketing specifically for business services, manufacturing, new technology and healthcare. We're specialists – we speak our customers' language, we visualize the technology and ideas in their head. They get our undivided attention. Why? Because we're fascinated by what our client's come up with that make's the world a better place, or at the very least somebody's life easier.
We focus on what you do, that tiny little point in the business universe.
We absorb your knowledge and brainstorm to deliver it creatively, with relevance to your prospects. We tell them, "this is what you do, and how you do it, and you only do it for them!"
And then, we turn their focus around. To you.
Kris brings over 20 years of experience in strictly B2B advertising and marketing and was a key team leader in growing one of Rochester N.Y.’s current top agencies from 3 people to over 50 during a seven-year span. Because of her entrepreneurial nature, Kris left the agency and launched her own, TrueNorth, as a way to focus on her core competencies in marketing strategy, design and web site development. Client’s that Kris has personally served during her career include global brands such as L-3 Communications, Carestream, Inc., HP, Kodak, Bausch & Lomb, Ascend Performance Materials and Xerox among many others.
Today, TrueNorth has evolved into a leading marketing services provider and consulting firm for marketing strategies, branding, web site design and development. A key focus of the agency is taking on new businesses and helping them establish a marketing strategy, branding and communications tools for entry into the marketplace with a competitive edge.
In addition to her success in the creative field, Kris also has a passion for horses. Therefore, when you can’t find Kris in her office diligently working out the next campaign or chatting it up with a client, she’s at her 15 acre equestrian center tacking up one of her horses.
A graduate of the RIT with a degree in packaging engineering and design, Mike started his career as a Marketing Communications specialist creating logos, advertising, sales kits and retail and industrial packaging.
As a Marketing Communications Manager at Dow Chemical he received a Clio award – one of the world’s most recognized advertising and design awards for “The Best International Packaging Design” for Dow’s Acid Acceptance Kit.
Since then, he has held the position of Creative Director for Neale+May and Partners in Palo Alto, launched KerwinID in San Francisco and today handles east and west coast clients for TrueNorth.
As a certified Green professional and communicator, Kerwin has shared his deep experience in promoting environmentally sensitive products through a series of lectures to professional organizations, institutional lenders, planning departments, and college students. He has been a speaker and panelist at the West Coast Green Conference.
Mike’s talents aren’t just reserved for clients, he sometimes takes them global for a good cause. “Recently I returned from five weeks of teaching art and design in the jungle schools of rural Ghana, Africa. A key focus of my work there was communicating our charities’ message of “Clean Hands Save Lives.” This experience re-confirmed my core belief that the simpler the message, the more impact it will have for action. Also, while teaching basic business communication skills to young Africans, I emphasized that commitment to building long-term, mutually advantageous relations is paramount to success.”
